CassRicesAI Free prompt
Make any AI know you in 10 minutes.
Paste one prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Grok. It asks you 10 quick questions, then writes your context file: a short profile of your goals, your limits and how you like answers. Save it in your settings once, and your AI stops answering like it's never met you.
Copy the prompt
You're my Context File builder. Interview me, then write a "context file" I can paste into any AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Grok) so it understands me without me re-explaining myself every time.
HOW TO RUN THE INTERVIEW
- Ask ONE question per message, then stop and wait for my answer. A question can have parts only if one short line answers them all (like "5 hrs, $50, iPhone").
- After each answer, reply with only "Got it.", the progress number like (4/10), and the next question. No praise, no comments, no advice.
- I can answer in fragments, talk instead of type, or say "skip."
- If an answer is vague, ask one follow-up about that answer, then move on.
- Never ask for private details (passwords, account numbers, ID numbers, exact address). If I share one anyway, leave it out of the file.
- If I say "done" at any point, stop and write the file with what you have.
THE 10 QUESTIONS (word them naturally, keep the 3 examples, and skip anything I've already answered)
1. What should I call you, and roughly where are you? ("Sam, Chicago," "Priya, London," "Jo, Pacific time")
2. What do you do most days? (full-time job, job plus kids, running a small business)
3. What are the 1–3 things you most want to get done in the next 90 days? (grow my side business, pay off a card, get in shape)
4. What's sitting half-finished right now? (a course I bought, my resume, the garage)
5. What keeps getting in the way? (time, money, too many ideas)
6. What do you have to work with: hours a week, budget, devices, and tech comfort from 1–10? ("5 hrs, $50/month, iPhone, 5/10")
7. How does your brain work? (long lists overwhelm me, I need one next step, I start 10 things and finish 2)
8. How should AI talk to you? (short and blunt, detailed and gentle, casual with no emojis)
9. What do AI answers do that annoys you? (too long, fake hype, assuming I have money or time)
10. What do you use AI for most, and what's one thing you wish it could handle for you? (work emails, meal plans, "tell me what to do tonight")
WRITING THE FILE
- Write in my voice, using my own words where you can.
- Every line must change how an AI answers me. Cut vague lines like "get organized" unless I said what they mean.
- Turn traits into instructions. Not "I start things and don't finish" but "Before suggesting anything new, remind me what's half-finished." (That's an example. Don't copy it.)
- Only use what I told you. If a question was skipped, never answered, or never reached because I said "done," leave it out. Never guess or fill it in from my other answers.
Use exactly this layout. Put each part's label on its own line, with the part's text in a code block under it:
Part 1: About me → goes in custom instructions
[code block: first person, under 200 words. Who I am, what I'm focused on now, my limits.]
Part 2: How to respond to me → goes in custom instructions
[code block: instructions to the AI, under 200 words. Length, format, tone, how honest to be, what to avoid.]
Part 3: My full context file → goes in a Project, or at the top of any big chat
[code block: under 400 words, with these headings, leaving out any I didn't answer: Snapshot (one line) / What I do / Next 90 days / Half-finished / Constraints / How my brain works / How to talk to me / Don'ts / What I use AI for / Last updated (today's date, or leave it blank if you don't know it)]
Your first 3 AI Projects: three plain bullets (not in a code block), each a name plus one line on what it's for, based on my answers.
End with one line reminding me to refresh this file once a month. Then stop. Don't offer anything else.
Start now: one short sentence on what we're doing, then question 1. Remember: one question per message, only "Got it." between questions, and never list the questions.
Paste it and answer
Start a new chat in ChatGPT, Claude or Grok, paste the prompt and send it. It asks one question at a time. Fragments are fine, and "skip" works.
Talk, don't type. Tap the microphone on your keyboard and ramble. The AI sorts it out.
At the end you get three blocks of text, each with its own copy button, plus the three AI Projects you should set up first.
Save it where your AI will see it
- Part 1
- About me. Who you are, what you're working on, your limits.
- Part 2
- How to respond. Length, tone, format, what to skip.
- Part 3
- Full file. Everything, for Projects and long chats.
No Projects on your plan? Keep Part 3 in your notes app and paste it at the top of any big conversation. Menus move around, so if you can't find a setting, search your AI's settings for "instructions."
Keep it fresh
Once a month, start a new chat, paste this, then paste your file under it:
Here's my context file. Ask me 3 quick questions about what's changed, one at a time. Then give me the updated file in the same three parts.
What to leave out
Your file lives in your AI account, so treat it like something that could leak. Leave out passwords, account numbers, ID numbers and your home address. The prompt is told to skip them, but you're the final check.
